Shimmerfly Migration

The Great Shimmerfly Migration has arrived, filling Kilima’s dusky sky with shimmering wings for a limited time.

Keep an eye out for Star Quality Shimmerflies to decorate your plot, and if you are lucky, you may even flutter away with a Shimmerfly Plush.

As summer comes to a close, the migration will continue on its journey. Don’t miss your chance to catch them while they’re here! But don’t worry, they’ll return next year during their annual migration.

Path of the Briar

Duo Dance

For the first time ever, you can share the dance floor with another Palian in our new ballroom-worthy duo dance emote “Heart of Gold” (Song by Steffen Schmidt & Amanda Achen.) Each player performs their own unique role in the dance, featuring choreography captured from real-life professional dancers.

Dance solo to hear the instrumental version, or join another player to share and synchronize the music. If one dancer wears the full Briar's Grace outfit and the other wears the full Bestial Formality outfit, you'll unlock the song's beautiful vocal performance.

Bulletin Board

Auni is on a mission to prove Kilima has the best Bug Scouts around. To do that, he'll need your help to beat the Harvest Meadows Troop in this year's Shimmerfly Challenge.

He’s appointed you Bug Scout leader and needs your help catching Shimmerflies, gathering flowers, preparing bug-catching snacks, and helping with farm chores. As a final reward, you’ll get the recipe for a Shimmerfly Garden!

Insect-a-Palooza

Calling all Bug Scouts… Insect-a-Palooza returns!

Catch insects across Palia and work together with fellow Palians to unlock rewards for everyone.

With the Great Shimmerfly Migration in full swing, there’s never been a better time to load up your bug bombs and chase down some of Palia’s cutest critters.

Insect-a-Palooza runs from August 17 to August 24, 2026.

Welcome the Flutterfox

Want something sweet? Reach Ranching Level 10 to unlock Flutterhoney in the Amber Echo Store. If you encounter a wild Flutterfox, a little Flutterhoney may be all it takes to befriend one and welcome it to your ranch.

Flutterfoxes produce Silky Fluff, an alternative to Silk Thread.

Phoenixfire Riffroc

Phoenixfire Riffrocs have arrived in Palia!

These fiery friends are incredibly rare and seldom seen in the wild, but dedicated ranchers may discover a way to add them to their ranch!

These feathery friends produce a variety of grilled foods, fresh from the flames.

The “Open-Minded” trait is now available for both Riffrocs and Phoenixfire Dawnspurs. 🤔
